The people behind the package.

Speakeasy Doors & Windows AZ is owned by three partners, each accountable for one part of the business, with a general manager who brings a builder’s perspective to every project.

Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors with black frames set in a stone wall

Built around a construction mindset.

Speakeasy was created to bring a builder-led perspective to Arizona architectural windows and doors. We understand the GC side before we ever talk product: framing, waterproofing, sequencing, finish schedules, site access, installation, punch and service, and how every opening affects the rest of the build.

Our owners also run Gatsby Glass locations in Glendale and Scottsdale, so one relationship can carry the rest of the glass package too: showers, mirrors, railings, partitions, wine rooms, smart glass and storefront.

Leadership

Each owner leads one division of the company, and the three divisions hand every job to each other through one documented process.

  • Jeff Novak

    Director of Revenue and Sales

    Owner-partner

Jeff leads revenue and sales: lead generation, the sales team, estimating, quoting and bids, customer communication through the sale, pricing strategy, and marketing and the Speakeasy brand.

He also owns Gatsby Glass of Scottsdale.

  • Dan DelloStritto

    Director of Operations

    Owner-partner

Dan leads operations and fulfillment: purchasing and supplier relationships, production and installation scheduling, warehouse and materials, installation crews, quality assurance and warranty service, jobsite safety, and licensing, permits and code compliance.

He also owns Gatsby Glass of Glendale.

  • Bernard Schotte

    VP of Operations

    Owner-partner

Bernard leads finance and cash flow: banking and deposits, billing and collections, vendor payments, payroll, the annual budget and monthly reporting, and insurance, bonding and surety relationships.

  • Shawn Lovins

    General Manager

    Builder-side lead

Shawn brings a general contractor’s background to the window and door process, so each package is planned around real jobsite conditions.

He is the day-to-day lead for builders and project teams, from plan review to proposal.

How a job moves from sale to installation.

Sales, operations and finance work from one handoff checklist. A job is released to production only when:

  1. Scope is verified against the signed contract.
  2. Deposit and payment terms are confirmed.
  3. Field measurements are verified.
  4. Materials are ordered and the lead time is known.
  5. The installation schedule slot is confirmed.

Change orders are priced and signed before the changed work is scheduled.
